SMT100 Soil Moisture & Temperature Sensor
The SMT100 is a soil moisture and temperature probe deployed as part of the Co-Site environmental monitoring network, located near Kerpen. It measures volumetric water content and soil temperature over time, providing data relevant to drought risk assessment, urban green infrastructure planning, and land management decisions. Readings are published as open data through an OGC SensorThings API, so they can be reused in other tools and analyses. The dashboard below shows live and historical readings from the deployed sensor.
